Symantec Antivirus 10 Business Pack

Error 1311 Source file not found:
C:\WINDOWS\Installer\Data1.cab.
Verify that the file exist and that you can access it.

The Installer can't find Data1.cab in the c:\windows\installer folder. The Data1.cab is located in the SAV folder on the Symantec Antivirus cd. However, if the WINDOWS\Installer folder cannot be viewed with the windows explorer then at the top click on 'Tools' then click 'Folder Options', when folder options opens click the 'View' tab and scroll till you find 'Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)' and take the check mark out and click 'Apply'then click yes to acknowledge that you know what you are doing and then click apply again. Now you will see the c:\windows\installer folder, place all the contents of the SAV folder into the c:\windows\installer folder and reboot and try the installation again. For me this worked however, it seemed to have taken longer to install than normal, but once installed and updated it worked like it was supposed to.
